Levi United FC Youth Academy Continues Building in Second Year

Published Jan 6, 2023

Brunswick County, N.C. – Levi United FC Youth Academy has completed their tryouts for the new 2023 Spring/Summer season. The club added two more teams to the youth program. In all, for the 2023 season, LUFCYA will have three teams: U17 boys, U16 boys, and U15 girls. The word has spread in the county and the growth of the club has caught the attention of rising young talent looking for competitive travel soccer.

The staff is excited for another challenging season to push the players to improve every training session. With a lot of new players coming in, the coaches are looking to put together a fantastic system. One that fits all three teams to challenge each one for many victories in tournaments attended around North Carolina

Emmanuel Sarkorh, the club president, and youth coach is excited about another season which he believes will be a success. “The growth of the club is massive. Just last year, we had 16 players. Now, we have 54 players and two gender groups within the three teams. This is a testimony for the hard work of everyone at the club pushing the growth of the club brand in Brunswick County.”

The quality and competition level of the players at the club is high. Practices are full in numbers and parents on the side eagerly waiting to see our teams display in our first tournament of the season. The support and growth LUFCYA are seeing from the community is unreal.

“We are ready and will keep growing in Brunswick County. This club is for the entire county. We want players from every part of Brunswick County to join the family.” said Mr. Sarkorh

LUFCYA will begin league play on January 20-22 in Greenville, NC. The club will be participating in the Beast of the East Tournament put on by Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association.

If in the Greenville, NC area, come out and support!
